Horry County Search and Rescue (HCSAR) is a nonprofit public service team providing SAR services exclusively to first responders, available 24/7/365. Our primary mission is to safely return missing loved ones to their families, minimize loss of life, reduce injury and property damage, and provide recovery services when needed—all with a strong focus on the safety of everyone involved. To achieve this, we train rigorously to deliver professional-level search and rescue services, offer preventative educational awareness programs, and respond to requests from local and state agencies.
