K9 Cain is a working-line German Shepherd and a certified scent-specific trailing dog. This means that when someone is missing, Cain uses a "scent article"—an item carrying only the missing person's scent—to follow their unique trail. Both of Cain's parents come from Czech working lines and served as police K9s. Cain lives with his handler, Jeff, and his human mom, Jess. While he can be a bit vocal when excited, he loves going on long walks and playing with his favorite tug toy.
Ida was raised and trained for 17 months by current owner, JoJo and family before she graduated as a Guide Dog for the Blind!
Though no fault of her own, she was retired at a young age and returned to her original family.
Ida enjoys being an awesome "demo dog" for her owner's dog training business, K9 Connection, LLC, along with being a K9 search and rescue dog trainee for Horry County Search and Rescue.
She is intelligent, eager to please, playful, and loves belly rubs and walks on the beach with her family.
Aspen is a young Belgian Malinois who is currently working towards building the foundations of a Trailing K9. She still has a way to go, but is doing very well in training! When she’s home with her handler, her favorite things to do are play with her human little brother and snuggle. She also loves to go out and see new things, and loves to do obedience training for treats or her favorite toy.
